As a director, my goal is to listen to what each artist on the team has to say and bring all of their voices together in an engaging, concise and harmonious product.
I love working around passionate people and I do my best to bring all the voices together towards the same goal.
If I’m working on stage or on film, I’m moved by underdog stories, family stories, contemporary but also traditional and classical work.
Homecoming
I wrote Homecoming as a tale of immigration. It was when we played in Manly, for an audience as diverse as Australia, that we felt it wasn’t just about immigration. It was about the world today. About our longing for connection and friendship. It was about what makes us feel at home. And that subject is not an immigration issue. It is a human issue. And understanding that made all the difference.
Leve Theatre Company
In Brazil, I founded and directed Leve Companhia de Teatro, which translates as Lightweight Theatre Company. Under Leve, I co-wrote, directed and produced a number of theatre shows, webseries and corporate theatre.
The Book of Gold
In 2016 I co-wrote, directed and produced the children’s play “O Livro de Ouro” or “The Book of Gold”. It was an incredible success and it was performed more than ninety times, from 2016 to 2019, being awarded the Coca-Cola Femsa award of best supporting actor for Daniel Costa, who plays Milo. We reached roughly 10,000 spectators with the show from 2016 to 2019.
Krokchips
In 2018 I co-wrote, directed and produced the childre'n’s play “Krokchips”, which went on to be sponsored by BIOSEV for two years, for tours around Brazil. Through more than 30 performances, from 2018 to 2023, the play has reached more than 3,000 spectators.
Gui Moscardini Musical Show
In 2017, the Brazilian musician Gui Moscardini invited me to directed his debut show, as well as create a script to integrate each song and each musical guest. It was an incredible experience, which integrated gifts to the audience, lighting design and set design. The minimal elements coordinated together, made the experience an unforgettable night for those present.
Corporate Theatre
Theatre can be an excellent tool to engage, motivate and communicate with a corporate audience. Throughout my life, both in Brazil and in Australia, I’ve worked in the corporate world, teaching, directing and performing in Corporate Theatre, achieving extraordinary results regarding branding, training and engagement.
Webseries
After the success of Leve Companhia’s theatre shows, I was lucky enough to create webseries that integrated with the shows The Book of Gold and Krokchips.
Corporate Video
Since 2016, I’ve been directing multiple types of productions: theatre, children’s theatre, webseries, corporate theatre, and corporate video. Wether it is a training video, an educational video, events, podcasts. I’m passionate about telling stories and I believe I have a special talent which is to make people shine on their best light. A few of my clients include the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Indigo Oscar Restaurante (Perth, WA), Australian Pacific College (Sydney, NSW) and the ABCC - Australia Brazil Chamber of Commerce (Sydney, NSW).
